Hi everyone! Here is a picture of all my CVS deal finds!
I'm so excited!

OK, so here is how I did it...
I combed through the CVS ad for this week and made a list of all the items that were entirely free or nearly free after ECBs.
My goal is always one of these 3 things (for max results yours should be too!):
- Get an item TOTALLY free.
- Get and item ALMOST free.
- Get an item that I NEED for cheap or free.
1 - L-Oreal Advanced RevitaLift Anti-wrinkle serum, 1 oz. (limit(lim) 1)
List Price (LP): 11.99, ECBs: 11.99, Coupon(cpn): 1.00,
End Price(EP): FREE ($1.00 OVERAGE)
1 - V05 Shampoo, 15 oz.
1- V05 Conditioner, 15 oz.
LP = EP = $0.65 each (ea)
1 - Nivea for Men Body Wash, 16.9 oz. (lim 1)
LP: 4.99, ECBs: 4.99, EP: FREE
1 - Adidas Deodorant, 2.8 oz. (lim 1)
LP: 4.99, ECBs: 4.00, cpn: 1.00, EP: FREE (0.01 cent OVERAGE)
14 - SoyJoy Nutrition Bars, 1.06 oz.
LP: 10 for $5.00 (10/$5.00),
cpns: $2.00 off of 10 ($2.00/10); Buy 1 Get 1 Free (BOGO) (3 cpns used);
& Buy 2 Get 1 Free (1 cpn used)
EP: 14/$3.00 = $0.21 each
1 - Mennen Speed Stick 24/7 for men, 2.7-3 oz. (lim 1)
LP: 3.99, ECBs: $2.00, cpn: $0.75, EP: $1.24
Note: Look for the "Bonus Packs" that include an Irish Spring Body Wash FREE; I got one!
2 - Crest Pro-Health Toothpaste, 4.2 oz OR Crest Pro-Health Rinse, 250 mL (lim 2)
LP: 2.99, ECBs: 2.00 each, cpn: 0.75 (on toothpase only)
EP (1 toothpase): $0.24
EP (1 rinse): $0.99
1 - Vaseline for Men hand lotion 3.1 oz OR Body/Intesive care lotion 10 oz. (lim 1)
LP: 2.99, cpn: 1.50
EP (body lotion): $1.49
1 - Doritos chips
LP = EP = $0.99 (thought I needed a filler item; turns out I didn't.)
The math:
1.30 - V05 Shampoo $ Conditioner
3.00 - SoyJoy Nutrition Bars
1.24 - Mennen Speed Stick 24/7 for men
1.23 - Crest Pro-Health Toothpaste & Rinse
1.49 - Vaseline for Men body lotion
0.99 - Doritos chips
(-1.00) - L'Oreal overage
(-0.01) - Adidas overage
--------------------------------------------------
Total before discounts: $8.24
Minus ECBs: $6.99
Total Out of Pocket (OOP): $ 1.25 (for you, should be: $0.26 - when filler is deducted)
So, I started with $6.99 in ECBs that I had from the free Excedrin gel caps 20 ct deal and Aleve-D 10 ct deals on September 14th. I purchased all the FREE items (like L'Oreal, Nivea, Adidas), then I included nearly free items that earned ECBs (like Speed Stick, Crest), and finally cheap items (like SoyJoy and Vaseline).
In this case I did not need to fill up my purchase so that I would not lose ECBs, but sometimes you do have to. This means, if I have an ECB worth $3.99 and I have items that add up to $3.00 then it would be worth it for me to find an item for $1.00 and end up paying $0.01 cent rather than lose $0.99 cents by not adding in a filler.
